QuantWare launched in July 2021 with the singular ambition to accelerate the usefulness of the quantum computer, while democratizing hardware and expanding the field.
QuantWare works on the quickest path to useful quantum computation, based on a foundation of world-class expertise in nanofabrication and scaling up of superconducting QPUs.
Achieving useful quantum computation is a huge challenge, and one we cannot do alone. We are a collaborative company working with the best-in-class companies and experts on complementary solutions. We are always on the lookout for new partnerships.
In OpenSuperQPlus100, QuantWare brings in its extensive expertise in superconducting processor design, fabrication, and 3D integration to advance the development of large, scalable quantum processing units (QPUs) with high performance.
Specifically, QuantWare is leading the "Dense signal delivery solutions" task, which involves making its next-generation 3D scalable architecture and fabrication services available to partners as a platform for their designs. Additionally, QuantWare is contributing to the "Processor Design" and "Fabrication" work packages.
As part of this effort, the Delft demonstrator - which aims to develop a full-stack 100-qubit system - will feature a QuantWare processor.
The OSQ+ objective to collectively achieve the 100-qubit milestone is in close alignment with QuantWare's vision for an open architecture approach to quantum computing. We firmly believe that specialisation and collaboration will accelerate the advent of practical quantum computing for all.
